Title One Interventions

The following are possible Title One Reading Interventions:
  • Book Lending Program - Student may borrow just right books for nightly home and/or in school reading practice.
  • Additional Reading Support - Additional guided reading lessons 3-5 times a week using classroom materials, F&P LLI System and/or Read Naturally. Targeted interventions will be used for specific areas such as phonological awareness, fluency, phonics, vocabulary and comprehension.
  • Lunch Bunch - Lunch recess program that gives students the opportunity to use Lexia or other educational materials with adult support to meet targeted CCSS.
  • Title One ipad - Issued to a student and kept in the classroom for easy access to educational programs that support CCSS.
  • Resource Support - A variety of learning tools such as flashcards, toobaloos, and reading trackers are available to support at home practice.
  • Super Summer Success Program - Students choose and then bring home 10-20 just right books for reading practice during the summer. The books are returned in the Fall.
  • Summer Workbooks - Students choose a workbook to complete during the summer for CCSS skills practice.
  • Parent/Student Evening Programs - These programs may be scheduled throughout the school year, as the budget allows.
  • Before School Tutoring - Like Lunch Bunch, students will use Lexia for targeted CCSS skills practice. (as budget allows)
The following are possible Title One Math Interventions:
  • Lunch Bunch - Lunch recess program that gives students the opportunity to use IXL Math, XtraMath, Dreambox, and/or other educational materials with adult support to meet targeted CCSS.
  • Targeted Math Support - Student receives additional math support from the Title One staff.
  • Title One ipad - Issued to a student and kept in the classroom for easy access to educational programs that support CCSS.
  • Before School Tutoring - Like Lunch Bunch, students will use IXL Math, Dreambox,  and/or XtraMath for targeted CCSS skills practice. (as budget allows)
  • Summer Workbooks - Students choose a workbook to complete during the summer for CCSS skills practice.
  • Parent/Student Evening Programs - These programs may be scheduled throughout the school year, as the budget allows.
  • Resource Support - A variety of learning tools such as flashcards, number grids, and math games are available to support at home practice of math skills.
